Question by HEYJOE: Can I use three 12 volt batteries for a 36v golf car that would normally use six 8 volt batteries?

Sorry my mistake ,it should read six,6 volts,not six,8 volts,thank you!

depends how the 8 volt batteries were wired 6x 8 =48

    6 x 8 is 48, not 36
