   Go to Golf Smith or Golf Galaxy they have large selection of pre-owned club sets and you can also try it in there launch monitor. Some Golfer always trade-in there new club sets.

   Probably in the winter months, because that would be the slower time for sales, just like hunting equipment would be bigger sellers in the fall and winter.

   Fall season is the best time to buy a golf set. This is the time golf stores sell their demos to the public. Try to check some golf forums or ebay you might find some golf sets that are selling for good prices.

   When the new models come out in the spring.

   This year’s models (2008) will start getting their prices lowered in the next few weeks. The biggest discounts on 2008 clubs will come in early spring 2009 as club manufacturers start promoting their 2009 club lines.

   You should start watching discount shops like RockBottomGolf.com and pay attention to the prices.

   The major manufacturers launch new clubs twice a year. They will launch product in fall for the West coast and about February for the mid and East coast. After 1 year the current models will drop in price, but usually not more than about 20%. After 2 years is when you get the big drop, to about 40-50% of original price. The cheapest way to buy new or nearly new clubs that have been out for awhile is Ebay. Just make sure that the seller has a well established history and good feedback. Big savings over the retail stores, and no sales tax.
